OOTD- Midi Dress 90’s inspired look

History does repeats itself! We witnessed the comeback of some of the trends from 90’s this year. The choker Necklace.. Berry lips.. floral skater dresses..The denim jacket & Crop tops.

This midi dress has a vintage feel to it.. like the good old 90’s and i loved it!😍😍

Since I was in my “Holiday Mode” 😀 so, I have kept the look simple & comfortable.. paired the dress with golden flats ,a choker necklace & a sling bag to carry my makeup essentials 😜

Here i am wearing Pure Amaranthe from L’Oreal Color Riche Pure Reds Star Collection on my lips . It just works wonders for me on lazy days, it instantly brightens my face.

Just lipstick, winged eyeliner & my favourite compact and viola!!




Coloressence-Intense Long Wear Liquid Lip Color Candy Orange Review


I know we are a little late in posting our first review being a beauty blog but as they say  “Better late then Never! ” I was shopping at GIP few days back & came across  Coloressence kiosk & thought of checking it out & I ended up buying couple of things but today I am going to review their Intense Long Wear Liquid Lip Color in shade Candy Orange. I love this color it is one of those shades that brightens up your face. Keeping up to its name it does reminds me of the orange candy that I use to have at school.


I am obsessed with matte lipsticks & I don’t like liquid lipsticks much but this one turns out to be an exception. The formula is light yet highly pigmented, that does stay on for all day. It easily survives through meals and small snacks during the day. It glides smoothly as it claims and it may look glossy at application but it settles down to a matte finish within a minute. It is handy & I often carry it my jeans pocket.

It is priced at INR 350 for 8ml.

  • It is hard to take off as the color is too intense & may leave a trace behind. You need a good make-up remover. I personally remove it with coconut oil.

Water Rocks ! Drink More Water

How all of you have been?

Yes, I know you have heard it before, multiple times actually..but what I also know is you still need a reminder to drink adequate water. But what I am not sure of is DO YOU KNOW THE BENEFITS OF WATER?

This Simple, Free & Humble drink have many Health and Beauty benefits. Experts advice to drink around 8 to 10 glass of water every day.

I personally drink around  3 ltr to 4 ltr water on a normal day. Water is so beneficial, so easy, so free yet so easily overlooked. It’s really a no brainer (actually our brain is 90% water!!!). Our body is about 70% water, the majority of your blood and every cell in your body is composed of water. Therefore, you need water to function properly.

5 Quick & Easy Running Late Hairstyles

Winter mornings = Lazy mornings

Warm cozy bed & snooze button? Not a good combination 🙈🙈 Just 5 more min & you wake up after 30 min realizing you are in trouble!  Bummer.. Gotta run !!

5 min shower ( or no shower 😛 ) No breakfast..hair a mess & out you go…

Here are few quick & easy hairstyles to step up your hair game for those lazy days. Second & third day hair are just perfect for these hairstyles. These are so easy that you can do it even in your office or college restroom & you are all set to rock the world like a style diva!

The 2 min “Rope Braid”:

  • Brush your hair thoroughly.
  • You can choose to make the braid on a side or the regular way.
  • Grab a section from your forehead & divide it into two.
  • Start twisting.
  • With each twist add a little section of hair.
  • Continue till you reach the end & secure with an elastic band.
  • Loosen up the braid to give some dimension.




Easy ” Doughnut Bun”: Tie your hair into a regular high ponytail. Keep a doughnut bun handy for such mornings(It is easily available in the market or you can do a DIY with a sock,totally up to you) Run it till the end of the ponytail & start wrapping your hair around it. Keep on twisting till you reach the end. You should have a nice bun at the end..You can secure it with bob pins if you feel the need.




Everyday “Fishtail Braid”: Now this one I do agree looks complicated, but in reality it’s not once you get the hold of it.

  • Just grab your hair as you would for a ponytail.
  • Divide in two equal sections.
  • Grab a small section from both the sections from outer side & cross over.
  • Continue braiding till you reach the end & secure it with a rubber band.
  • Loosen up the braid to give some dimension to the braid. Remember the messier the better!




The Elastic HeadbandAnother savior that makes it look like you have put in a lot of effort on your hair but only we know the reality 😉 Just secure the headband in place & wrap the hair around the elastic of the headband.. & here you go! classy.. adjust your bangs to get that effortless look.




The “Messy Bun”: You can never go wrong with a messy bun.  The best thing about this hairstyle is it doesn’t have to be perfect. All you need is a rubber band & few bob pins. Grab your hair into a ponytail . Just twist and secure with other elastic band. Loosen up the bun from some places secure with few bob pins so that it stays in place.  You can also do it on a side.. High or low.. Go experiment whatever looks best on you!
