“Health & Beauty” benefits of Dates

I was introduced to Dates by our close family friend during a Roza Iftar during the month of Ramadan fasting. They told us about the amazing benefits of Dates.They claimed dates provides them with enough vitamins & minerals to carry on their 30 days fasting. This is their energy boosters after long hours of no water fasting sometimes in hot humid months.

I wasn`t quite convinced that how can just one fruit be packed with so many nutrients. So I decided to do my own research on the same & it turns out they were right it is so rich in vitamins and minerals. It’s a good source of energy, essential minerals such as calcium, iron, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, magnesium and zinc. It also contains vitamins such as thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, folate, vitamin A and vitamin K.

Likewise, I would like to introduce some of the health & beauty benefits of dates to you:

Rich in vitamins:  It contains. Vitamins such as B1, B2, B3 and B5, as well as A1 and C .I know unbelievable right? If you have a few dates every day, you won’t have to take your beauty vitamin supplements.

Rich in Minerals: It is packed with calcium, sulfur, iron, potassium, phosphorous, manganese, copper and magnesium which are all beneficial for overall health.

Lowers Cholesterol: Including them in smaller quantities in your daily diet can help you keep a check on cholesterol level.
