Who doesn’t like healthy, shiny, luminous hairs? But the sad truth is very few have them.
We all use so many chemicals & heat on our hair these days curling, straightening, blow drying, hair dye & what not… on top of that pollution & dry weather… poor hair have to bear so much that it tends to become dry, frizzy & dull.
We have some all natural DIY hair rinse recipe that you can include in your hair care regime, you can make them easily at home with things available in your house hold. Although hair rinse are not very popular but I personally love them & I have noticed a visible difference in my hair since I started using them. Natural hair rinse nourishes your hair with vital nutrients. It promotes hair growth, balances pH level of the scalp, improves the blood circulation in the scalp & conditions your hair. Below are some of my favorite hair rinse that I have been using for years now:
Lemon Juice Rinse: After you are done shampooing your hair. Squeeze half a lemon in the mug full of water & rinse your hair with it. You can use this once in a week. To add life and shine to dull hair.
Apple cider vinegar: Mix 2 tablespoons of vinegar to 1 mug of water. Use as a final rinse after shampooing and then rinse well with cool water. This will add shine and bounce to your hair.
Hibiscus Flowers & leaves Rinse: Take few Hibiscus leaves or flower or both whatever you can get. Keep it in the water for 12 hours and then boil it to make hot infusion. Let it cool down. Rinse your hair with it after shampooing.
Reeta ,Shikakai & Amla Rinse: My mom has been using this for years & she has amazing hair, it works as a hair tonic, that makes your hair lustrous & also adds volume to your limp hair. You can get the dried Reeta, Shikakai & Amla at any local grocery store very easily. Take 3 pods of shikakai, 1 reetha berry & few Amla with 2 cups of water. Bring it to a boil & strain. Let it cool down then you can use this rinse in place of your regular shampoo if your hair is not too greasy.
Neem Hair Rinse: As neem has got antibacterial & antifungal properties, can prevent your hair from scalp infections and also provide strength to the hair. Boil neem leaves in water and then filter the same. Let it cool down, rinse your hair with the neem water .
